Sciatica

Pain that travels from your lower back or hip into your leg can make sitting, bending, walking, training, and working uncomfortable.

Symptoms associated with sciatica can include aching, burning, tingling, pins and needles, or sharp pain that follows the path of the sciatic nerve.

Sciatic symptoms can have several causes, so at Harkoa we focus on understanding what may be contributing to yours. Your practitioner will assess your symptoms, movement, and relevant areas through the lower back, hips, glutes, and legs before determining the right treatment approach.

Where muscular tension and restricted tissue are contributing to nerve irritation, we combine SCT Release with targeted deep tissue techniques to reduce tension, improve movement, and create more freedom through the surrounding tissues.

Treatment may also include mobility and strengthening exercises to address movement limitations and build greater capacity through the hips and lower back.

Our goal is to help settle your symptoms, restore comfortable movement, and get you back to working, training, and everyday life with confidence.
