Tennis Elbow

Pain on the outside of your elbow when gripping, lifting, training, or even picking up everyday objects is often associated with Tennis Elbow, also known as lateral epicondylitis.

Despite the name, you don't need to play tennis to experience it.
It commonly affects gym goers, tradies, athletes, and anyone performing repetitive gripping or wrist movements.

At Harkoa, we look beyond the painful area itself. Your practitioner will assess your movement, symptoms, training or work demands, and the surrounding areas that may be contributing to the problem. Restrictions through the forearm, upper arm, shoulder, rotator cuff, and neck may all influence how much load reaches the elbow.

Treatment combines SCT Release with targeted deep tissue techniques to address tight muscles, restricted fascia, and overloaded tissue throughout the affected chain. The aim is to reduce pain, restore movement, and improve how the arm and shoulder function together.

Once movement improves, targeted strengthening and practical changes to training or daily activities help build the area's capacity to handle load again, with the goal of getting you back to lifting, working, training, and gripping comfortably.
